Kinetic Hanging Mobile Art - Hunting Logde Mobile - Artistic Sculpture by Skysetter Designs Tube. Duration : 2.28 Mins.

Handcrafted with red cedar which was hand sanded and rubbed with tung oil to a fine finish. Hung on stainless steel wire. I wanted to create a special effect with this mobile by having different components on each tier of the mobile articulate differently. Each component in the center of each grouping has an added jump ring to give it additional articulation. Without the jump ring, you achieve a 20 degree articulation. With each jump ring added, you increase articulation by 20 degrees. So, the center pieces have a 40 degree articulation and the outside pieces with only a 20 degree articulation. Too much information, I'm sure :-)
